afatpenguin: Sometimes, it feels like we live in a time where trust holds no value - institutionally and systemically, we are pretty much labelled un-trustworthy. Of course these social systems serve a purpose, but too often we let this kind of overtly cautious thinking permeate into our everyday life and ultimately, we take it as an appropriate general description of things, or worse, a truth.
